NCL: PRIMA Christening Event (Iceland)

One of my favorite areas of photography is events. I love being immersed in the moment, reacting in a split second to capture the energy, emotion, and essence of an event as it unfolds.

I was asked by Norwegian Cruise Line to serve as the lead photographer for the christening of their newest ship, PR1MA. It was a monumental moment for NCL, as PR1MA became the first cruise ship of its size to dock in Reykjavík, Iceland.

Over the next few days, I captured the inaugural parties, performances, and special moments taking place at Harpa Concert Hall. The coverage continued onboard the ship, where I was tasked with photographing the live performances and events, including artists such as Daði Freyr, Shaka Khan, and Katy Perry, along with the many parties and celebrations happening throughout the ship.

It was an incredible two weeks at sea, filled with unforgettable moments, performances, and experiences that I was proud to capture.
